Fundación Caja Sol, Sevilla, Spain
Fundación Cajasol presented ÁNIMA, a solo exhibition by Tiziana Dominguez that explored the artist’s profound relationship with horses. The exhibition took place at Fundación Cajasol, one of the most prestigious cultural spaces in Seville and the broader south of Spain, celebrated for hosting significant artistic and cultural events. Wine from Galicia was served courtesy of Bodega Martin Codax.
The opening event was attended by notable figures, including Antonio Pulido, President of Fundación Cajasol, the artist’s father, Adolfo Dominguez and her former partner Juan Verde, among other distinguished guests. The gathering also included a number of prominent horse breeders, reflecting the thematic connection between the exhibition and equine culture.
The exhibition showcased a series of paintings that explored the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability, portraying the silent and intuitive dialogue between humans and horses. The word “ánima”—meaning “soul” or “life” in Spanish—captured the essence of the works, inviting viewers to reflect on themes of freedom, instinct, and the vital force that animates all living beings.
The event created an atmosphere of admiration and reflection, solidifying Fundación Cajasol’s role as a hub for exceptional cultural experiences in Seville. The connection between the art, the region, and the audience underscored the exhibition’s emotional resonance and the artist’s ability to evoke a shared humanity through her visual narrative.
The exhibition invites visitors to an intimate and contemplative journey through the richness of everyday life. In this universe of art, artists transform the seemingly ordinary into something extraordinary, capturing fleeting moments and often unnoticed details that make up the tapestry of our daily lives.
